Change of information in MRP

1.Due to some personal circumstances an applicant may like to change some of the information in the MRP. But it is not possible to change such information manually in MRP rather a new MRP will be required. To change information like changing of names, permanent address, profession, age, marital status, the following supporting documents must be provided:

1)For technical personnel like Doctor, Engineer etc: appropriate certificate
2)For other professions:  appropriate letter from the competent authority.

  1. Requirements for changing of information in MRP:

    a) Manually filled in Information Alteration Form (please click here to find the form).
    b) One passport-size photograph (55X45 mm).
    c) Original MRP along with a photocopy (page 2-3).
    d) Requisite supporting documents as mention above.

  2. Online appointment:

    You need to have an appointment for the new MRP. Please click here for online appointment and insert 0A0000000000000 as ‘Online Application No’ to book an appointment.

  3. MRP fee(non-refundable):

    Please pay by Debit/Credit card at the counter. No cheque or cash is acceptable. MRP fee for regular applicant is £65.00. Students are entitled to get MRP at a concession rate. i.e. £20.00. Student must present a valid student’s ID (original) for concession.

  4. Processing time and delivery of passport:

    Normally such MRP is ready for delivery within 25-30 days from the date of submission. Once the passport is received by this High Commission from the DIP/Dhaka, a text message will be sent to applicant to collect the passport. Upon receiving the text, the applicant should come to the High Commission in person along with old MRP and delivery slip. The delivery time is between 2:30-4:00 pm (Monday-Friday).
